Event 5 - 27th April - Notting Hill

The rain was appallingly heavy as we drove to the event - and Schon was convinced that she would stay in the car whilst others, more foolhardy than her, took part in the event. As it turned out:

• The start location had under-cover car-parking. Thanks to the nice ladies from the quilting group who were not upset by our presence (and quite bemused about what we were planning to do).
   
• The rain stopped just prior to the event and didn't really crank up again until about 7:50 (if only I hadn't called out to Kristian about how lucky we were with the rain...).
   
• The location was reasonably central - so most people headed home to shower/drier clothes.

Apologies to Johanna who had gone to some effort to organise a social gathering/food after the event - many of us were quite cold and decided to head for home asap rather than calling by. Terrific event - really well set! Thanks Johanna!
