| When: | 2:00pm mass-start on Saturdays (as indicated in the program on the Street-O home page) |
| Who: | Street orienteering is a popular pastime for people in all suburbs - people from 8 to 85 take part in the current series. In addition, we are joined regularly by scout/guide groups as part of a navigation exercise and by several local schools that run the Victorian high-schools street-orienteering series. All welcome! |
| Cost: | $3 per event for adults, $1.50 for juniors/students |
| More information: | Saturday afternoon is a great way to start orienteering. The
atmosphere is particularly friendly - and those attending are encouraged to
bring a plate for afternoon tea and to stay back after the event for tea or
coffee and refreshments. Those present would be pleased to provide you with assistance in
getting started - people turning up to their first event are asked to arrive
20-30 minutes early. This provides enough time to show you how
to register for the event and explain how to take part in the event.
The Saturday series is hosted by the folks from Dandenong Ranges
